Our Community Cooperative credit union’s Elma branch opened on March 29, 1999 and currently has 7 full-time employees and 1 part-time staff member. The Cooperative credit union, formally Simpson Worker Federal Credit Union, celebrated their 75th anniversary in December 2017, with over 360 million in possessions and recently opened their 8th branch at Steamboat Island. OCCU also runs branches in Shelton, Union, McCleary and Montesano, with over 29,000 members.
