Is what it is.Pool/ Getty Images Donald Trump has typically been described as a man who was born on third base and thinks he struck a triple. This is primarily due to the fact that he boasts endlessly about a fortune he built even though he acquired millions from his effective dad. However it’s also a pretty good description of how Trump talks about the economy.

Take his recent comments about joblessness among African-Americans. Over the weekend, Trump celebrated the fact that the official unemployment rate amongst blacks had fallen to 6.8 percent, a record low. “I am so pleased about this News!” he tweeted. Trump then selected up the theme again today, obviously after viewing a fawning Fox & & Friends section that declared “African Americans and Hispanics are officially doing much better with [Trump] than under President Obama.”
